Elephant are a five piece comprised of Catherine Ireton (vocals), Ciaran Fitzpatrick (bass), Ciaran O’Conaill (keys), Keith O’Donoghue (violin) and Michael John McCarthy (guitar). The band formed in Cork in the early 2000s and released the album ‘In The Moon’ on C.U. Records in 2004. In the years since then members of the band have gone on to write, perform and record with artists including Belle and Sebastian, Trembling Bells & Bonnie Prince Billy, Alasdair Roberts, Aidan Moffat and Emma Pollock, as well as composing music for theatre across Ireland and internationally. Their shows in Coughlan’s this December will be their first in over 14 years and will consist of two sets, no support."
