PROC Tickets Terms & Conditions

Disclaimer

The ticket transaction occurs between the ticket seller (the event promoter and/or venue) and the ticket buyer.

PROC receives any booking fees applicable from the ticket seller's total.

Refunds, exchanges or transfers are the responsibility of the ticket seller.

Tickets are sold subject to the event organiser/ticket sellers right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.

Subject to any statutory rights of refund if an event takes place then generally there is no right to a refund or exchange, including where a ticket holder cannot attend because of adverse weather conditions.

The venue/event organiser reserves the right to refuse admission should patrons breach any terms and conditions of the Event or Event Organiser To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, be it express or implied PROC disclaims all warranties without limitation, fitness for a particular purpose, compatibility, security, accuracy or infringement.

We accept no responsibility for inaccurate or misleading content published by ticket-sellers on our website, on their own websites or elsewhere.

We do not make any warranties or representations as to the completeness, accuracy or reliability of the contents of this Site.

We neither accept nor assume any responsibility to you in relation to the contents of this Site.

Access to and use of this Site is at the user's own risk and we do not represent or warrant that the use of this Site or any material downloaded from it will not cause damage to property, including but not limited to loss of data or computer virus infection.

In no event do we accept liability of any description including liability for negligence for any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data or profits arising out of or in connection with the access, use or performance of our website or any of its contents.

We shall not under any circumstances be liable to any customer by reason of any representation or warranty, condition or other term or any duty of common law, or under the express terms of these conditions of sale, for any consequential, special, incidental or punitive loss or damage (whether for loss of current or future profits, loss of enterprise value or otherwise) and whether occasioned by the negligence of PROC, its employees or agents or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages Although the Site is accessible worldwide, not all products or services referenced herein are available to all persons or in all geographic locations.

We reserve the right to limit the provision and quantity of any product and service to any person or geographic location.

You may not distribute, sell or transmit any Materials from this Site and you are not permitted to alter, modify or adapt any such Materials, including but not limited to translating, decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling or creating derivative works, or to reduce the Materials to any other form.

We will not be liable in any way for the content, availability or use of such linked web sites and you use such links PROC is not in the business of organising events and is solely acting as a facilitator of ticket sales at the request of the promoters and accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss incurred by the purchaser of a ticket if the event does not take place in whole or in part.

Our only obligation is to provide ticketing services in respect of events organised by third party promoters.

Tickets are sold subject to any house rules and regulations operated by the venue or promoter.

Right of admission is reserved and may be refused without reason.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to the venue for reasons of public safety, overcrowding or any other reason.

Admission to events is by full ticket only.

No readmission is allowed, unless by prior arrangement with the organisers.

The customer is responsible for correctly verifying the correct day, time and location of the event and ensuring that they arrive in good time to attend the event.

As PROC does not organise the events for which tickets are sold, no liability can be accepted for actual start or end time of events or indeed for the manner in which events are run.

We do not run, promote or host events and any venue or event information posted on the PROC website is subject to change by the event host, promoter or organiser.

If you require an accurate start / end time for an event, please contact the promoter/host.

PROC cannot be held responsible for the content or quality of any performance and event promoters have the right to make essential changes to the performance programme without prior notice.

Ticket purchase As independent ticket sellers control the quantity of availability of purchasable tickets PROC disclaims all responsibility in relation to the availability of tickets.

Potential ticket buyers must accept that events and venues, by their nature, have limited capacity.

Ticket sellers can instantly turn on, turn off, increase or decrease the number of tickets for sale themselves and PROC does not inforce upper or lower limits on this.

PROC is not responsible for any loss or expense incurred by a ticket buyer as a result of the failure or malfunction of any external service being used by this website including but not limited to hosting, server software, ticket software, payment provider.

PROC and ticket sellers do not accept responsibility for any inconvenience or loss caused by a failure on the customer's part to complete and successfully place an order for tickets.

The customer is wholly responsible for ensuring that their ticket order has been completed and has been successful.

If you are unclear as to whether your order for tickets has been successfully placed and to avoid inadvertently placing multiple orders, please read the related article in our FAQ.

It is the customers responsibility to note and safely keep the order number associated for future reference.

The customer is fully responsible for ensuring that all aspects of their ticket order are correct.

Multiple orders
PROC does not accept responsibility for unwanted tickets ordered where the ticket buyer has made multiple orders either deliberately or unintentionally.

Customers should contact the event promoter/venue in these cases.

After entering your credit card details please wait until you see the confirmation page with your order number.

Refreshing the page may cause an additional unwanted order for which we accept no responsibility.

Ordering Tickets for More Than One Event It is not possible to purchase tickets for more than one event as part of a single purchase/transaction.

PROC accepts no responsibility for any incorrect information presented on third party websites or orders resulting from incorrect or out-of-date links on external sites.

It is the entirely customer's responsibility to ensure that tickets chosen are for the correct event, date and time and are at the expected price.

PROC is not responsible for such mistakes and disclaims all liability for same.

Payment
You may be asked to supply certain information including credit / debit card or other payment information and personal details when purchasing goods or services on this website.

By providing such information you represent and warrant that it is accurate.

Please note that the sending of personal information via e-mail over the internet may not be secure and can be intercepted by third parties or incorrectly delivered.

You should not divulge personal information over the internet unless you are using a secure or encrypted communications technology.

We use SSL for all secure commerce transactions.

SSL encrypts all of your personal information, including credit / debit card number, name and address so that it cannot be read as the information passes across the internet.

You agree to pay all charges (including shipping and handling charges) incurred by users of your payment mechanism at the prices in effect when the purchase is made.

You are responsible for paying any taxes applicable to such purchases.

Booking fees and postage fees are non-refundable.

When you order you grant PROC via Stripe Payments permission to contact your bank or credit card company to validate the credit / debit card details you entered and to seek permission to debit this card for the total amount due.

Similarly, you grant PROC the right to submit your personal and bank details to anti-fraud systems for assessment during the ticket purchase process.

Event Cancellation
From time to time, events are cancelled for various reasons.

It is the responsibility of the ticket seller to communicate this with customers who have bought tickets online.

PROC disclaims all responsibility for any expense or cost rising out of the failure of a ticket seller to inform ticket buyers of an event cancellation.

All promoters have access to the email address used by ticket buyers to purchase tickets.

Should this happen, we will try to contact you as early as possible by e-mail, with the e-mail address you have supplied at the time of booking.

PROC will not be held responsible for any inconvenience, losses of any kind or expenses incurred by the customer as a result of an event being cancelled, rescheduled or moved to a different venue.

Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or transferred in any way unless the event has been cancelled or rescheduled.

The ticket buyer is entirely responsible for any transport, accommodation and all other expenses in attending an event.

PROC and ticket sellers are not responsible for the failure of a ticket buyer to attend an event and are under no obligation to issue a refund for failure to attend.

Once a ticket has been sold online it cannot be cancelled, renamed or the number of tickets changed without the express permission of the ticket seller/event promoter.

The tools to provide refunds to customers are available to all ticket sellers.

PROC disclaims all responsibility for the failure of a ticket seller to provide a refund or name change for a ticket.

The transaction is between the ticket seller and the ticket buyer.

Name change on tickets
While we do our utmost to accommodate name changes and other requests PROC and ticket sellers disclaim all liability for the failure to request a name change within a reasonable amount of time of an event.

All name changes requests should be emailed to the ticket seller (i.e. the event promoter or venue) at least 2 working days before the event.

Non-receipt of confirmation emails/tickets: We send two emails if your ticket purchase has been successful, either of which can be used as proof of purchase to the ticket seller to gain entry.

If you do not receive at least one of these emails please check your junk mail.

If you have not received an email please email the venue or tech@peoplesrepublicofcork.

com to confirm whether you have made a successful purchase.

Please include the name you entered as the ticket buyer and the name on your credit card.

Do not include credit card details in an email.

The ticket seller retains the right to refuse admission at all times.

The purchase of a ticket does not guarantee entry.

PROC does not issue physical paper tickets to be sent by post or collected in person.

It is the responsibility of the ticket seller to provide optional ticketing beyond the ticket email sent from this website at the time of purchase.

After purchase it is the responsibility of the ticket buyer to produce the ticket for proof of purchase and identification at the event/venue/box office.

A ticket may be presented as a physical paper ticket printout or an email on an electronic device however the latter may not be sufficient for some ticket sellers and PROC disclaims all responsibility for any loss or expense incurred should this occur.

It is the ticket buyer's responsibility to print the ticket email.

While many venues may not require it and your experience in the past may have been this, we always recommend bringing a physical print out of your ticket to the event.

Most ticket sellers use a printed list of names and require identification on arrival at the venue box office.

PROC disclaims all responsibility for any errors made by the ticket sellers in producing a list of ticket buyers for each event and disclaims all responsibility for any loss, expense or inconvenience when a customer is denied entry by the ticket sellers or their agents or employees for failing to provide adequate identification or an order/confirmation ticket number received by email.

Voucher Redemption
You, or anyone you allow to use a gift voucher that you have purchased must be made of aware that they are bound by these terms & conditions.
The voucher amount refers to the monetary value paid in advance at the point of purchase. It is not a credit card, charge card or debit card and the balance on your voucher will not earn any interest. It cannot be exchanged for cash.

When being used to purchase tickets, the value of vouchers will be reduced by the total cost of tickets i.e. the ticket price and the booking fee.

Vouchers are valid for three years from the day of purchase unless stated otherwise on the voucher. They are non-refundable and non-transferrable except in accordance with your legal rights. After three years have passed you will not be able to use your voucher again even if all or part of the value remains on the card and you will not be able to claim a refund of any remaining value.

Vouchers can only be used when purchasing tickets for events in accordance with terms stated on the voucher and may be limited to being redeemed from a single venue. Vouchers are limited to online ticket sales only from this website. Venues also reserve the right to decide on which event tickets vouchers can be used. Venues may disallow vouchers being used to purchasing tickets at their discretion.
