Hello and welcome to my humble home. I will try to give you an idea of who I am, it’s been a long circuitous road to a pinnacle that I don’t want to see until I am incapable of climbing any further, so it’s impossible to tell you everything.

The Burma are a five-piece Indie band from Cork. Since the beginning of 2016 they have been recording and producing their own songs.
Influenced by the likes of The Smiths, The Strokes and The Killers, The Burma’s jangly guitars and bouncy basslines make for refreshingly melodic songs.

€10 Cork songwriter Clare O'Mahony pays tribute to one of her favourite songwriters, Joni Mitchell. Songs from Joni Mitchell's earlier album (Clouds, Lady's of the Canyon etc.) right through and up to her more recent recordings including the stunning A Case of You, will be played. Clare's own influences include the Canadian songwriter, and will be accompanied on the night by a full band.
