Irish alternative folk artist Shimmer Boy celebrates the release of his debut album “In The Aftermath, We Bloom,” arriving July 1st.
Blending atmospheric alternative folk with emotionally honest songwriting, Shimmer Boy explores themes of growth, sobriety, love and renewal. Recent releases including “Under The Surface” — featured on the hit TV series Made in Chelsea — and “Faith In You” have helped establish his distinct, intimate sound.
He has supported Dave Lofts at Cyprus Avenue (Cork), John Blek in Whelan’s (Dublin), Briars in Connolly’s of Leap, and Archie Ray in Bournemouth. He has headlined UK shows at the Devonshire Soho, London, further cementing his growing presence across Ireland and the UK.
