Mary Greene is the facilitator of 'Gals at Play'. She has an abiding love of excellent songwriting, valuing the power of a good song to change mindsets and capture the human condition. She is a member of Greenshine which includes Ellie Shine, Mary and Noel Shine.
Míde Houlihan is a Clonakilty bred singer songwriter, who put herself on the map by winning the IMRO Christie Hennessy Songwriting Award in 2015. Míde is a member of the trail blazing all-female West Cork band The Kates, currently touring songs from their upcoming album Between Takes.
Suzanne Rowe hailing from Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny, her compositions are often narrative and evocative and have gained significant recognition, including her piece By and By, which was performed at the National Concert Hall. She has collaborated with the Omega Three Orchestra and the SETU Irish Traditional Music Orchestra.
Trish Reilly is a proud member of the Traveller community from Athlone; she is steeped in the ancient Irish folk tradition. Trish was brought up in a very musical family where she immersed herself in Irish music and stories passed down through the old oral tradition, she is related to the famous singer and collector John “Jacko” Reilly.
Aoibheann Carey-Philpott is a songwriter a lead vocalist with Jodavino. She has shared stages with Lionel Richie & Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music. In 2020 Aoibheann released an E.P. Fragments of Joy, to much critical acclaim. She is a renowned choral director leading the Carrigtwohill the White Horse Gospel Choirs.
