Culture Kid is the solo project of Irish multi-instrumentalist Fionn Hennessy-Hayes. Having spent the past decade or so as a sought after touring musician, Fionn has performed with some of Ireland’s most exciting artists, including Cian Ducrot, Pa Sheehy, Rowan, Stephanie Rainey, John Blek, Clare Sands, Tiz McNamara and many more.
Now, taking his first steps as Culture Kid, he is carving a fresh path by blending intimate & honest lyricism with expansive & melodic soundscapes.
November marks a milestone for Culture Kid, with the release of his debut EP and his first ever headline show. To celebrate, he sets out on a mini Irish tour across the country before returning home for a landmark gig at Coughlan’s, Cork, on November 26th.
With a debut that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant, Culture Kid is carving out his place as a distinctive new voice in Irish Indie/Folk.
