Irish singer-songwriter Roesy returns to original touring after nearly a decade away, bringing a renewed voice and perspective to a body of work long celebrated for its lyrical depth and emotional clarity. Known for his gentle playing style and warm, engaging stage presence, his performances invite quiet connection and deep listening.
Roesy began his journey in 1996 with Warner Chappell and his first publishing deal, marking the start of a songwriting and recording career that would span eight albums, two EPs, and multiple tours across Europe, the US, Australia, and New Zealand.
Now based in Melbourne, he has spent the past several years working in disability care while continuing to write and create. 2025 marks a long-anticipated return to Ireland, beginning with a stripped-back, voice-and-guitar set at Electric Picnic and followed by a series of intimate performances around the country.
Described by The Irish Times as “armed with a crystalline pair of vocal chords,” Roesy’s music continues to explore themes of beauty, resilience, and quiet transformation.
Please Note: The venue operates a pop up café which offers a range of liquid refreshments in exchange for CASH ONLY on the night. The Richmond Revival is in the centre of Fermoy and is accessible via Bus Éireann. There are also a number of ACCOMMODATION options available onsite ranging from budget double and twin rooms with a shared bathroom to a high end luxury suite. Please further note that by purchasing a ticket to this event you are effectively, as part of your admission fee, are joining the Richmond Reivial cultural activity appreciation club and are bound by the rules of said club. Namely, No alcohol is permitted to be brought onto the premisis. Abusive behaviour towards volunteer staff will not be tolerated and general antisococial behaviour including tresspass onto private areas of Richmond House, which is a private home will result in immediate suspension of club membership and admittence/ejection from the building.
