Foogy Notions presents Jim Page
Jim Page is an America singer/songwriter from Seattle, WA, who has released two dozen albums and written a mountain of songs - some covered by the likes of Christy Moore, The Moving Hearts, Dick Gaughan, Roy Bailey, Michael Hedges, and the Doobie Brothers.
On top of being a great concert performer, his workshops on fearless songwriting are deeply effective and open to all skill levels. He does not shy away from the hard topics â politics, historical residue, and the labors of love. If you can talk about it you can sing about, thatâs how he sees it. He has been named "One Of the 50 Most Influential Musicians In Seattle History." Heâs been doing it since the 60s and he shows no sign of slowing down.
âJim's been writing great topical songs for as long as I can remember, bringing his acute wit and wry humor to a host of subjects that can really use both. He cuts right to the heart with music you actually enjoy listening to. I'm a longtime admirer.â BONNIE RAITT
âEvery now and again I encounter a singer who gives me a glimmer of hope.
Jim Page carries the light.â CHRISTY MOORE
Jimâs 24th album â THE TIME IS NOW: âSongwriting master craftsman
delivers career defining album.â Graeme Tait, Americana UK
âJim Page is a lyrical genius with a guitar. This man personifies the word âfree-flow.â Page takes to the mic and the song invents itself on the spot; his talent is a natural wonder.â GAVIN REPORT
âIf Jim Page ainât the bastard son of Woody Guthrie Iâm T-Bone Walker.â ROBERT HUNTER
